‘Enough For You’ is the latest track from one of London’s finest new talents, Fergus. It’s a piece of guitar-led alt-pop centred on an incredible sense of emotional lyricism: “I wrote 'Enough for You' when I was feeling desperate after the same old fight with a mean drunk. I felt like I was trying really hard to be who they wanted me to be and make it work, but I kept getting shot down.” The first half of the track introduces us to his powerful, malleable voice over a subtle accompaniment, but the second takes us towards explosive pop territory, with the excellent production of Jake Gosling shining through.
